LAND VISIONING

Begin your visioning journey

We believe in legacies built with purpose. In practical plans grounded in place. And in the extraordinary potential of those who walk the land every day.

Land Visioning is a process which gives landowners and managers the space, insight, and creative support to shape that vision and bring it to life.

The realms of farming and land stewardship are changing fast. A new generation of landowners with modern ideas about farming, nature and  is stepping in to take on the responsibility of stewardship.

Whether you're new to owning land, inheriting it, or seeking a fresh direction for a place you’ve known all your life, we’re here to help you clarify your vision and bring it to life.

Land Visioning is a guided, twelve week journey designed to help landowners and land managers discover what they want for their land and how to make it happen.

Over this period, you’ll be supported through a structured, reflective programme that challenges, broadens, and deepens your ideas. Together, we’ll explore what matters to you, what your land is capable of, and how to shape a meaningful legacy that is rooted in your values, your landscape, and your long-term hopes.

Your values, your landscape.

As the custodian of your land, your vision should reflect what you care about most, whether that’s food production, nature restoration, community benefit, income generation, or a unique combination of all of the above.

We stand beside you, offering the prompts, tools and insight you need to shape a vision that’s practical, powerful, and deeply personal.

A creative, collaborative process.

Creating a new direction for land use often means bringing others on the journey.

Neighbours, tenants, local communities, conservation partners, and others affected by your land’s future all have a role to play. As skilled conveners, we bring together an Assembly of Stakeholders early in the process, ensuring dialogue is open, transparent, and constructive.

We act as a neutral voice to help you build support, identify potential concerns early, and create a climate of trust around your vision.

Guided by your Counsel.

Great visions need great people behind them.

We’ll help you identify and connect with the experts you need, whether that’s funders, farm advisors, ecologists, planners, economists, land agents, architects, or community development specialists. We bring these voices together around your Land Vision as a shared mission, helping to reduce friction, align perspectives, and move things forward with clarity

Breathing life into your vision

Land Visioning doesn’t end with a report that gathers dust on a shelf.

It ends with a community that understands your direction and a team of experts ready to help you move. The process leaves you equipped, energised, and ready to begin the real work of delivering your legacy.

When your Land Vision is complete, it becomes the guiding star for all that follows.

Beyond land visioning

Landed Futures was founded by experts in rural policy, public engagement and communications, people who understand the gap between what landowners want to do and what policy and regulation allow.

Your Land Vision will do more than guide your own journey. It becomes part of a bigger picture, helping us to feed back to government, planners, and decision-makers what land stewards across the UK really need to manage land in ways that benefit everyone.

Existing landowners

You may be rethinking your land use for reasons ranging from farm diversification to regenerative practice, rewilding, or income adaptation. Wherever you’re headed, we’re here to help you navigate change with confidence.
